Torpedo Boat Destroyer. 27-knotter. She and Zephyr first had locomotive boilers with one funnel as the Admiralty would not accept boilers from the builder as proposed. Unable to reach their contracted speed, the Admiralty agreed to change to Reed Boilers with four funnels. The changes also produced problems with extra weight and they never reached their design speed and were not a success.
