14/12/1836 aground on The Garth, Workington harbour; later refloated 27/10/1837 Liverpool for Workington, disabled and leaking off Ulverstone Bay with passengers exposed overnight; assisted by another steamer and arrived Pile Foundry, Lancs with three feet of water in hold. 10/4/1838 went ashore south of St Bee's Head and lost rudder; arrived Workington 12/10/1838 aground entering Maryport from Liverpool during a gale; refloated 14/10 |
