Disposal Detail
On voyage from the Gold Coast, West Africa to Charleston SC with slaves, went aground six miles from shore of Bull's Island, South Carolina and sank. Capt D Smith, crew and the 194 slaves were rescued by the schooner VICTORY from Norfolk VA and taken to Charleston.

VICTORY was awarded salvage of $7760, one fifth of the value of the slaves.
