Remarks
Designed by A. Mylne & Co. (no 460)
2010 home port Granton.
From Colin Ritchie: She was heavily built and very powerful in a seaway, very forgiving, beautifully finished and well-equipped with 24v. electrics.
Such a beautiful build with splined topsides and solid teak upperworks, plus laid teak decks and a huge, safe, aft cockpit. A big Ford Sutton 62 HP engine drove her at maximum waterline speed, showing the efficiency of the hull design. Originally commissioned by an Irish owner, he took her away from Bute Slip Dock to have here finished internally in Ireland, presumably to save cost as the interior was teak-faced ply, but very well executed, and all the wiring, at 24 volts, to accommodate the serious electric windlass, was led in beautiful teak conduits. I seem to recall my father sold her about 1989. In the big heads compartment was a proper shower, powered by a big Jabsco brass pump which had a 2 way valve, with an outlet to the deck, for attaching a deck-wash hose. A proper little ship all round!
