Vessel history |
15/02/1900 left the Tyne and next day struck by an exceptionally violent squall, which caused a portion of the pig-iron ballast to shift, thereby causing the vessel to go over, ultimately on her beam ends. 17/02/1900 abandoned some miles north east of the Tyne and subsequently stranded near Dunbar. Salvaged and resumed trading. |
