On voyage from Sunderland for Aberdeen with coal, run into by the Aberdeen steamer HAYLE, 16 miles off the Bell Rock. The LEADER sank quickly and all six crew died.
The Board of Trade enquiry held that the HAYLE's mate failed to keep a lookout. |
