Stranded at Rill Head, near Kynance, Lizard in thick fog (Caleta Buena, Chile to Falmouth for orders, with nitrate) and became a wreck. All 16 crew rescued. The master was held responsible for losing position, neglecting to take soundings, and his certificate suspended for six months |
