Remarks
Reportage in the subsequent days and weeks was generally ambiguous, contradictory and often simply wrong. The loss day could even be questioned. The database uses a best estimate for this loss.
End year Fate / Status
1868  Wrecked 23/04/1868
Disposal Detail
Wrecked by collision near Hooghly Point on the Hooghly River with general cargo including cotton. While being towed by the CELERITY and AGRA, ran into the anchored ETHEL and sank.
