Cargo caught fire 35m W of Bardsey (Greenock for Trinidad); run ashore at Studwall road, 6m W of Pwllheli. Burned from stem to stern and a total wreck. 3 crew left in boat (and believed lost); remainder of crew, 2 passengers and five stowaways saved.
