15/02/1896 Left for Para after adjusting compasses.
17/02/1896 Foundered in the Irish Channel. The captain and the fireman went down with the vessel and another crewman died while being taken out of the boat. The survivors took to the lifeboat and were rescued by Captain Palmer of the Belfast smack CHANCE.
