Disposal Detail
Sank after being run into by French ss LA BOURGOGNE (7305grt/1885) while anchored off Fort Hamilton, New York harbour in fog (New York for Puerto Limon). Some crew made off in ship's boat, leaving remainder and passengers on board, while captain unsuccessfully attempted to beach her, but she sank. The survivors were rescued by the tug HARROLD from the rigging and wheelhouse.
