Disposal Detail
Wrecked on Horse Island (Crinan Rocks) off Ardrossan. Reached Waterford on delivery voyage where defects in her plating were examined and it was decided to return to Glasgow for repairs. In severe storms the captain and pilot decided to make for Ardrossan and shelter. In the wreck, nine of the 52 passengers and crew lost their lives.
