Left Dumfries on Sunday morning of 18 December for Liverpool with a general cargo. On Sunday evening she ran aground between Parton and Lowca Point. After unsuccessful attempts to get off by reversing the engines the crew took to the boats and landed safely at Parton. By Monday, the vessel was broking up. |
