Disposal Detail
Stranded in cove near North Cape, New Zealand in fog (Auckland for Sydney). Crew and all 30 passengers saved and most cargo landed. Later repairs commenced in situ.
7/6/1858 after completion of repairs, just before refloating, she was destroyed in a hurricane.
Wreck remains in situ (2008)
