10/10/1939 while on passage Durban to London captured by "Pocket Battleship" ADMIRAL GRAF SPEE in the South Atlantic. Initially used as a supply ship by the Germans she was eventually sunk on 17/10/1939 with explosives in 08.30S - 05.15W.
