20/05/1922 sank 25 miles SW of Ushant after being struck by the French cargo ship SEINE in fog off the coast of Brittany in 48.10N - 06.32W. 71 crew and 15 passengers were lost as well as over one million pounds worth of gold bullion. She was on passage London for Bombay.
