Subsequent owner and registration history
May 1872 in collision, off Hastings, with the Spanish steamship Lorenzo Semprum. The Baltimore had a large hole stove in her hull, and the fires were soon extinguished, not however before she had been run aground off Hastings. She was toed into Southampton for repairs
