Disposal Detail
30/1/1944 struck by a Gnat fired by U-278 which seriously damaged her while escorting Russian Convoy JW56B in the Barents Sea. She had to be sunk by torpedoes from her sister, HMS Venus, after she had taken off survivours. Hardy lost 40 of her crew
