10/07/1903 Whilst under command of Capt Peter McLachlan, on a voyage from Dieppe to Liverpool with flint stone, stranded in fog, 3 miles Southeast of North Stack, near Holyhead. Severe bow damage incurred with plates bowed and cracked, but not holed.
