Maiden voyage commenced 4th January 1922 from London via Suez to Australia. She was a sister to JERVIS BAY. Transferred to the Aberdeen & Commonwealth Line in 1933. Served as a troopship during WW2. Refitted 1948-9 following the War's end. Her last sailing departed 11th January 1957.
