28/2/1908 hit in the stern by her tow, new liner ANCONA, and sank without loss of life in the Victoria Channel. March 1908 raised by James McCausland and repaired in No.2 Clarendon Graving Dock. 1952 Converted to a house barge and moored off Lytham as a boarding hulk by Preston pilots.
