30/1//1916 run down and sunk by the American liner PHILADELPHIA PAUL about 8nm SW Carnarvon Bay. [Liverpool-Sydney NSW, general] Towed to Holyhead and anchored in five fathoms where she sank. Lay on the sea bed until the end of WW1 when she was raised, towed to Liverpool and converted to a hulk.
