Sailed Tyne for Buenos Aires 10/08/1897 with coal bricks and tiles and 19 hands.
In extreme weather, hit by heavy squall which threw ship on her beam ends, causing cargo to shift, from which she never recovered. Ship capsized and foundered 20/10/1897 and crew took to boats from 21-24/10/97 before landing at Polonio Point.
