Vessel history
Left London 27/10/1876 for Melbourne with 1700 tons general cargo and 32 hands. Neighbourhood of Canary Islands collided with CITY OF BERLIN. Considerable damage including mizzen mast carried away and loss of Second Mate and six seamen. After repairs eventually sailed from Santa Cruz 05/12/1876 to continue voyage. See loss below.
