Arriving off Humber Dock from Leith, she sank after striking the chain of FINGAL (Genoa for Hull) which was anchored in the river. All passengers and crews landed safely.
It took until 9/1883 for the wreck to be cleared to a depth of 4 fathoms (and the wreck-marking buoy to be removed) |
