At 22:30hrs. Collided with the British steamer GANGES (6,246g. /30), in a position 12.38N., 55.31E., 250 miles east from Italian Somaliland, and sank. (250 miles SE of Cape Gardafui). 8 White and 33 Indian crewmen were lost. Her Master and 46 survived.
