Disposal Detail
Went ashore during gale at New Aberdour Beach, 7 miles W of Kinnaird Head (Fraserburgh to Burghead in ballast). Crew saved through heroism of farmer's wife Mrs Whyte, who entered the water in the gale to take and hold a line which enabled the crew to get ashore.

27/11/1884 wreck purchased for £265 as lies at auction by James Mitchell of the Montrose Foundry Co, expecting to salvage the engine and boiler.
